Learn from amec member Jeanología how the digitization of product development is transforming the fashion industry in the face of environmental, regulatory and cost pressures.
Through Jeanologia’s Quantum project, you will discover how the use of digital cufflinks and hyper-realistic assets can reduce physical samples by up to 80%.
Fast-fashion generates an accelerated renewal of collections with a strong environmental and economic impact. The traditional physical model – based on multiple samples, long lead times and a high carbon footprint – is limited in the face of a digital approach. Jeanologia’s Quantum project introduces eDesigner and its hyper-realistic assets (eFit, eFabric) to work with digital twins, photo-realistic visualization and remote collaboration. This transformation allows to reduce physical samples by up to 80%, shorten times, reduce costs and lower transport emissions, while complying with new European requirements such as ESPR and the Digital Product Passport. KPIs will be evaluated to assess its implementation (sample reduction, development times, avoided emissions according to ISO 14083 and cost savings), and the most common obstacles encountered.
