Grants for projects to boost the industrial value chain CVI 2025

Program to boost the industrial value chain to strengthen competitiveness and innovative, sustainable and digital transition. Aid for sustainability and digitalization projects aimed at industry. It unifies the traditional IDI and ACTIVA lines of aid.

Dates

The deadline for submission of applications will be open from January 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until February 11, 2026 at 2:00 p. m. (Spanish time).

Beneficiaries

Companies that develop an industrial activity and have a minimum of three years of experience.

Scope

The following types of projects may be submitted:

Line of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I):
a. Industrial research projects
b. Experimental development projects
c. Innovation projects in the field of organization
d. Process innovation projects

Line of Innovation in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency:
a. Innovative investments aimed at protecting the environment
b. Innovative investments in energy saving or energy efficiency measures.

SME R&D&I and Digitalization Investment Line (only for SMEs)

The period for making the investments is 36 months from the date of notification of the concession resolution.

The actions must be directed to a single industrial establishment.

The projects will be oriented to one of the following thematic priorities:

  • Sustainable production solutions.
  • Sustainability-oriented digitization solutions.
Amount

The overall budget for this call is 140 million euros, which can be increased.

Maximum aid intensity:

  • Small and micro-enterprises: between 20% and 65% depending on the type of project
  • Medium-size companies: between 10% and 55% depending on the type of project
  • Large companies: between 20% and 45% depending on the type of project

Eligible expenses:

a. Research, Development and Innovation:

  • Personnel expenses
  • Instruments and equipment (<60% of the financeable budget)
  • Contractual research expenses, know-how and patents
  • Consulting and equivalent services
  • Overhead

b. Line of Innovation in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency:

  • Production equipment and equipment (>20% of the bankable budget)
  • Building and installations (<50% of the financeable budget)
  • Intangible assets
  • External collaborations

c. SME R&D&I and Digitalization investment line (only for SMEs):

  • Production equipment
  • Intangible assets
  • Building and installations (<50% of the financeable budget)

Relevant general rules:

  • Grants in the form of subsidies.
  • Non-competitive competition: applications are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Minimum bankable budget:
    • 150,000 for SMEs
    • 500,000 for large companies
