amec has been awarded the Oficina Acelera Pyme (OAP) for the province of Barcelona for the next two years, consolidating its role as a reference entity in supporting industrial companies in their digital transformation processes and improving competitiveness.

The Acelera Pyme Offices, launched throughout Spain by Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, have in their 2025 call for proposals a grant of 30 million euros to promote the digitalization of SMEs, freelancers and entrepreneurs. The maximum aid amount is 80% of the eligible budget and is financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) for the period 21-27, Government of Spain.

With this new Acelera Pyme Office, amec puts at the service of the business fabric of the province of Barcelona its accumulated experience working with more than 350 industrial companies with a strong international vocation, and its direct knowledge of the real challenges faced by industry in a changing context.

Over the next 24 months, amec’s Acelera Pyme Office will offer SMEs, freelancers and entrepreneurs in the province of Barcelona a personalized and totally free technical advisory service, as well as practical training activities , workshops and specialized webinars, among others. The aim is to provide companies with a clear digitalization itinerary, helping them to identify opportunities, prioritize technological investments and access resources and public aid to boost their competitiveness.

Although the office maintains a focus clearly aligned with the industrial company, its services are open to all those SMEs in the province of Barcelona that want to advance in their digital transformation with business criteria and vision.
