Jordi Utgés, director of International and National Executive Education IESE Business School – University of Navarra, will welcome the participants to the Forum.

Carlos Álvarez Pereira is a senior professional with over 30 years of experience in research and innovation, entrepreneurship and business management, and a passion for complex thinking and transdisciplinarity. He is passionate about exploring the cultural transformation needed to achieve equitable human well-being in a healthy biosphere.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of the International Bateson Institute (IBI), a member of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS) and a member of the Spanish Fulbright Alumni Association, of which he has been vice-president for 8 years. Master in Aerospace Engineering, he has been professor and researcher of Applied Mathematics at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). He founded and chaired for 14 years the Innaxis Foundation and Research Institute, specialized in complex systems modeling and big data applications.
He has been founder and senior executive for more than 25 years of several consulting firms in Spain, Switzerland, France and Germany in the fields of digital technologies, systems integration and strategic consulting.
