AILarge Language Models (LLMs) have revolutionized access to information, especially in international market research. These tools have greatly simplified the process of selecting target countries, which are very useful for companies looking to expand internationally.

However, the more we use these technologies, the more often we detect hallucinations (generation of incorrect information), which makes us question their effectiveness.

In this course we will establish a research methodology with LLMs, using GPT, Perplexity, Gemini, among others, based on reliable sources of international trade information to minimize inaccuracies and obtain more reliable results.

We will follow the case method, and each company will create its own selection and/or international market research.

THE RESEARCH PROCESS WITH AI (methodology)

  1. International market research planning, defining the objectives that will guide our process. We will incorporate language models such as ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, taking advantage of their capabilities to access relevant information efficiently.
  2. Application of the research methodology based on prompting, which will allow us to perform more accurate and effective searches both with AI and on the Internet.
  3. Definition of key KPIs in a country selection table, analyzing the essential factors to prioritize the most appropriate markets.

SELECTION OF FOREIGN MARKETS WITH AI (practical)

  1. Gathering key information on target countries, using AI tools, such as economic, political, country risk and demographic data. These tools will allow us to analyze large volumes of information and draw relevant conclusions quickly and efficiently.
  2. Analysis of international supply and demand to evaluate market opportunities, identifying relevant e-marketplaces, databases and directories of international trade fairs, among others.
  3. Market accessibility information to identify tariffs, taxes and customs documentation.
  4. We will use AI LLM’s to process all this information and help us make decisions on which markets to address.

Methodology:

    • Presentation of the content with examples, case studies, and interaction with the attendee.
    • The case method will be used in real practical applications.
