Session structure

1.- Introduction – Why digitalize finance now? The real cost of managing finances manually or offline. What is changing in the regulatory and competitive environment that makes financial digitization a necessity, not an option.

2.- The tool map: ERPs and financial management software Review of the main solutions on the market and how to choose depending on the company profile:

  • Early stage startup with no dedicated finance team
  • SMEs with recurring invoicing and cash control needs
  • Company with more complex operations that requires more robust ERP

Which functionalities are essential, which are accessory and what mistakes are made when choosing a tool before the processes are clear.

3.- Expense management and ticket digitalization One of the most tedious tasks in the financial department and one of the easiest to automate:

  • Capture of receipts and invoices from cell phones with OCR
  • Automatic expense categorization
  • Digital approval flows
  • Direct integration with ERP and accounting

The goal: no ticket is lost, reconciliation is automatic and the monthly closing does not depend on chasing vouchers to the team.

Real-time financial visibility How to connect the ERP with the bank, automate the reconciliation and have an updated scorecard without manual intervention. The difference between knowing how it was last month and knowing how the company is doing today.

5.- AI applied to the financial department How artificial intelligence is transforming tasks that previously consumed hours of work (such as invoice control).

What is already working today and what is to come in the short term.

6.- Good implementation practices How to implement without overwhelming the team. Where to start if resources are limited. The role of the external CFO as an accelerator of the process.

7.- Question time and networking
