Aid for industrial decarbonization (PERTE-DI, Line 4 – SEPIDES)

The Ministry of Industry and Tourism has launched the second call for the second call of line 4 of the PERTE for Industrial Decarbonizationendowed with 100 million euros in subsidies100 million in subsidies, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.. The objective is to promote the construction and start-up of new industrial facilities or complete production lines that are highly efficient and decarbonized.

Dates

The deadline for submission of applications will be open on December 1, 2025 at 10:00 am and will end on December 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (Spanish time)..

Beneficiaries

The following are eligible for aid private commercial companieswith their own legal personality, legally legally constituted in Spain, of any size, as well as state-owned commercial state trading companies. The following will also be admitted groupings without legal personalityin accordance with the amendment of 2025.
A minimum of industrial experience of at least three years in the activities or sectors related to the project.

Scope

The call for proposals finances tractor projectswhich must consist of a new industrial facility or a complete production line integrated into an existing plant, capable of producing end products from raw materials without the use of fossil fuels (except in exceptional cases such as start-up or emergency equipment).
Each project shall avoid at least 5,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year..

Helplines include:

  • Industrial research, experimental development and feasibility studies.
  • Innovation in organization and processes.
  • Investments for environmental protection and innovative industrial decarbonization (carbon capture, energy efficiency, renewable energies for self-consumption, environmental studies and energy audits).
Amount

The total budget amounts to 100 million 100 million in grants.
The minimum budget to be financed per tractor project shall be 10 million euros10 million, with a maximum aid intensity of 80%..
Maximum amounts per type of action:

  • Industrial research: up to €35 million.
  • Experimental development: up to €25 million.
  • Innovation in organization or processes: up to €12.5 million.
  • Environmental protection/decarbonization: up to €30 million.
  • Energy self-consumption: up to €1 million.
