Support Fund for Productive Industrial Investment
The Productive Industrial Investment Support Fund (FAIIP) offers returnable financial support to promote industrial investments that boost the sector’s development, competitiveness and capabilities.
Dates
Projects may be financed if they have started up to 9 months prior to the application and may be executed up to 2 years after formalizing the financing.
Beneficiaries
Private commercial companies and cooperatives with registered office and establishment in Spain, which carry out or will carry out a productive industrial activity and industrial services, regardless of their size, are eligible.
Scope
Funding is provided for projects of:
- Creation of industrial establishments.
- Relocation of industrial establishments.
- Capacity expansion, production diversification or fundamental transformation of processes in existing facilities.
- Acquisition of assets from closed facilities to reactivate them, including the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies and environmental sustainability.

Excludes replacement of ancillary components, repairs, maintenance and corporate purchases.
Amount
The fund finances productive investments based on the type of project and its impact on the competitiveness and sustainability of the industrial sector.
