class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Ghana has presented its economic plan for 2026, focused on consolidating macroeconomic stability and accelerating economic transformation in sectors such as agribusiness, textiles and infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6cd8a4ee elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"6cd8a4ee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35ff5f32 elementor-widget class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ghana is perceived as a market of growing interest, supported by improvements in economic stability and international credibility. The Ghanaian government has a clear vision of becoming a country that <strong>produces more than it consumes and exports value-added goods<\/strong>, rather than just raw materials. <\/p><p>The following are the strategic sectors that will receive a significant boost in 2026:<\/p><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>Agribusiness<\/strong><\/h5><ul><li>The objective is to transform agriculture into a modern and mechanized commercial sector, focusing on the <strong>creation of agroindustrial enclaves<\/strong> for production, processing and distribution.<\/li><li>The <strong>National Policy for the Integral Development of the Oil Palm (2026-2032)<\/strong> (&#8220;red gold&#8221;) will be implemented, with the objective of expanding 100,000 hectares of new plantations and boosting refining and processing.<\/li><li><strong>Seven new agroindustrial processing plants<\/strong> will be put into operation for products such as yams, fish, poultry, cashew nuts, rice, shea butter, and palm kernel oil.<\/li><li><strong>Two new cashew processing plants<\/strong> will be built.<\/li><\/ul><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>Industry and Manufacturing<\/strong><\/h5><ul><li>Support will be provided for the establishment of <strong>three new garment factories<\/strong> in the East, Central and Eastern Bono regions, designed to operate under the <strong>24-Hour Economy<\/strong> program.<\/li><li>The export of <strong>non-ferrous scrap metals and raw rubber<\/strong> will be restricted to ensure that these raw materials are destined for <strong>domestic processors<\/strong> to support value chains and component manufacturing (including automotive and machinery).<\/li><li>The <strong>Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod)<\/strong> has a mission to lead the transition from the export of raw gold to <strong>refined gold<\/strong> and is working to establish a &#8220;Gold Village&#8221;
