consultation<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> on the future Quality Employment Act, a legislative proposal aimed at protecting labor rights and adapting to technological, economic and social Its approval will shape the new European labor framework for the industry in the coming years.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Industrial competitiveness and new regulatory requirements<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The roadmap confirms that the EU will push for a simpler, innovation-oriented regulatory environment <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and innovation-oriented regulatory environment<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">including a reduction of administrative burdens through the SME and Competitiveness Check. This will be relevant for companies that operate in several markets and must plan investments and regulatory compliance. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Industry will be at the center of new European policies: Clean Industrial Deal, battery packs, energy networks and support for strategic chains. These initiatives seek to reduce external dependencies and favor &#8220;made in Europe&#8221; procurement.   <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  International talent and mobility: new rules for recruitment and retention<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Commission will promote tools to facilitate talent mobility <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mobility of talent within and outside the EU, including<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">including:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\"335552541\":1,\"335559685\":720,\"335559991\":360,\"469769226\":\"Symbol\",\"469769242\":[8226],\"469777803\":\"left\",\"469777804\":\"\uf0b7\",\"469777815\":\"multilevel\"}\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Skills Portability Initiative<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to recognize competencies on a European scale.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\"335552541\":1,\"335559685\":720,\"335559991\":360,\"469769226\":\"Symbol\",\"469769242\":[8226],\"469777803\":\"left\",\"469777804\":\"\uf0b7\",\"469777815\":\"multilevel\"}\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">EU Talent Pool and Talent Partnerships<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to attract scarce profiles from third countries.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"2\" data-list-defn-props=\"{\"335552541\":1,\"335559685\":720,\"335559991\":360,\"469769226\":\"Symbol\",\"469769242\":[8226],\"469777803\":\"left\",\"469777804\":\"\uf0b7\",\"469777815\":\"multilevel\"}\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Visa strategy for students, researchers and skilled workers.<\/span> <br><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These elements fully affect companies with multinational workforces or distributed production and engineering centers.  <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/li><\/ul><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>AI and automation: more control and obligations<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AI systems used in selection, assignment or evaluation will be considered &#8220;high risk&#8221;. <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8220;high risk&#8221;.<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  under the AI Act. Companies will have to ensure transparency, human oversight and risk assessment in their use. In addition, the Commission does not rule out additional measures to ensure responsible deployment of algorithmic management.  <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  Telework and the right to disconnect<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Europe is preparing a clearer framework on telework, especially in cross-border cases (taxation and social security). The Commission is also moving towards   <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">rules on the right to disconnection<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This will require updating internal policies on the organization of working time. <\/span> <span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  Safety, occupational health and regulatory review<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The EU will update key directives to address psychosocial risks, ergonomics, teleworking, intensive use of screens and exposure to hazardous substances. This will impact industrial sectors with complex production environments and companies that are rapidly digitalizing their processes.   <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p><h5><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">  Subcontracting and international chains<\/span><\/b><\/h5><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In view of abuses detected in sectors such as construction, transport or agriculture, the EU will reinforce controls on <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">subcontracting, supply chains and employment in third countries.<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
