Since the UK recognizes this framework, this requirement becomes <strong>the technical reference for exporting to Great Britain as well<\/strong>. <\/p><p>This means that companies will have to adapt their products to new requirements, especially in areas related to digitalization, software and security.<\/p><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>Direct impact on exporting companies<\/strong><\/h5><p>The new Regulation introduces <strong>relevant changes in the obligations of manufacturers and economic operators<\/strong>, which directly affect companies selling machinery in the United Kingdom.<\/p><p>The main impacts include:<\/p><ul><li>The consideration of software as a safety component.<\/li><li>Mandatory inclusion of source code and control logic in technical documentation.<\/li><li>Strengthening the obligations of importers and distributors in the verification of compliance.<\/li><li>The definition of &#8220;substantial modification&#8221;, which shifts responsibilities from the manufacturer.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>These changes involve a thorough review of design, documentation and certification processes.<\/p><h5><strong><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">_<\/span><br>What products and processes are affected<\/strong><\/h5><p>The scope of the Regulation is extended and incorporates new categories and requirements.
